Engaging your audience is key in public relations as people want to be in-the-know. This allows viewers to identify with you. Although traditional pr is still effective, it is important to keep abreast with the wave of new technology.

By maximizing your online presence, not only are you engaging fans, but you are capturing new fans and a new market. The web can be considered a separate market because there are people who stick to traditional print and others that only use the web for their daily content.

PR Newswire is said to "launch social media tools that will engage audiences with dynamic content." They will create social engagement tools that enhance the online presence of a business on Facebook by creating simple integration of custom pages. Another feature that will be beneficial is the automatic posting of news releases. Their main purpose is to provide these automatic services of measuring,  maintaining and updating content, which will not require the support of IT.

Bloggers Soiree chose 18 bloggers to rip the runway for six fashion designers on Monday, December 13, 2010 for the  "Bloggers Soiree Presents: Fashion is Never Bottomless” charity benefit in contribution to Bottomless Closet NYC.

"The mission of Bottomless Closet is to help disadvantaged New York City women become self-sufficient through a comprehensive program that begins with business attire and interview preparation and continues with professional development, financial management and personal enrichment. Using the model of women helping women and our network of dedicated volunteers, Bottomless Closet enhances our clients’ self-esteem and self-confidence in order for them to enter and succeed in the workforce and improve the quality of their lives."

Designers will include Gwen Beloti, Viva Aviva, Astrophel + Stella, Caycee Black, Hare + Hart and sample loans by Tracy Reese.

Welcome to La Vue - The Vision

Welcome to My Vision!

Here on my blog you will be in sync with my every move as a publicist- well almost my every move! You will be updated on what I'm doing with my clients and and on what makes me, ME! To give you some background information about myself: I graduated from SUNY New Paltz with a B.A. in Journalism concentration in Public Relations. Yes I know the two do NOT mesh well, the study of public relations is relatively new in academia. I am currently in the proccess of obtaining my M.B.A. in Media Managment and I work in-house as a Public Relations/Marketing Manager at @JJEyelashes. I also represent other talent in the entertainment, fashion/beauty, non profit, and lifestyle industries.
